13.01.010 Purpose

The purpose of this title is to establish the laws for the election of the Tribal and Judicial officials and representatives in a fair and impartial manner consistent with the democratic principle of allowing the people to vote for the person who will represent their rights and interests and those of the Tribe in government and in the judicial system and in compliance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.
