24.14.020 Subject Matter

(a) This article applies to negotiable instruments. It does not apply to money, to payment orders governed by Section 25.05.050, or to securities governed by Chapter 24.38.

(b) If there is conflict between this chapter and Chapter 24.04 or Chapter 24.38, Chapter 24.04, this chapter and Chapter 24.38 govern.

(c) Regulations of the board of governors of the federal reserve system and operating circulars of the federal reserve banks supersede any inconsistent provision of this article to the extent of the inconsistency.
