26.11.330 Tampering with Public Records

It shall be unlawful and a Class [4] four offense to for any person(s):

(a) Knowingly make a false entry in, or false revision of, any record, document, or item belonging to, received by or kept by the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians or any government for information or record, or required by law to be kept by others for information of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.

(b) Make, present or use any record, document, item or thing knowing it to be false and with the purpose that it be taken as a genuine part of information or records referred to in the above subsection (a) one; or

(c) Purposely and unlawfully destroy, conceal, remove or otherwise damage the truth or availability of any such record, document or thing belonging to or received by or kept by the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians or any government.
