31.01.010 Definitions as Used in This Ordinance

(a) Council" means the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Tribal Council.

(b) Reservation" means the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Reservation.

(c) "Tribal Secretary" means the secretary of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.

(d) "Shorelands" means the area within the following distances from the ordinary high-water mark of: one thousand feet from a lake, pond or flowage and three hundred feet from a river or stream or to the landward side of a floodplain, whichever distance is greater.

(e) "Tribe" and "Tribal" means the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.
