55.01.010 Purpose and Authority

(a) The purpose of this title is to adopt a uniform system of providing for the general welfare and needs of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians

(b) Article IX, Sections (a)(2-6) of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Constitution ("Constitution") delegates the Tribal Council the power to make laws, including codes, ordinances, resolutions, and statutes.
