60.03.010 Right to Inspect and Copy Public Records

(a) Any person has a right to inspect or copy any public record of a public body, except as otherwise provided by this title, and in accordance with reasonable rules concerning time and place of access.

(b) A request to inspect or copy a public record must be in writing. The writing may be handwritten and informal but must express the request with enough clarity to enable the public body to accurately identify the record sought. The request must also state the date, name, address and telephone number of the requesting member, and must be signed by the requesting member.
