35.04.110 Prohibited Activities; Sanitation

(a) Except as otherwise permitted by this Code, in addition to all other activities prohibited by this Code, the following acts are unlawful:

(1) Placing in or near a stream, lake, or other water any substance, which does or may pollute a stream, lake, or other water;

(2) Failing to dispose of all garbage, including any paper, can, bottle, sewage, waste water or material, or rubbish either by removal from the site or area, or by depositing it into receptacles or at places provided for such purposes;

(3) Depositing in any toilet, toilet vault, or plumbing fixture any substance which could damage or interfere with the operation or maintenance of the fixture;

(4) Possessing or leaving refuse, debris, or litter in an exposed or unsanitary condition. In addition, if the substance is a petroleum product or any hazardous material, the penalty shall be up to $1,000 plus all clean-up costs;

(5) Dumping any refuse, debris, trash or litter brought as such from off the Reservation. In addition, if the substance is a petroleum product or any hazardous material, the penalty shall be up to $1,000 plus all clean-up costs.

(b) Except as otherwise provided, violation of this section shall be a Class Two Civil Offense.
