24.09.040 Leases Subject to Other Statutes

(a) A lease, although subject to this article, is also subject to any applicable:

(1) Statute of the United States;

(2) Certificate of title statute of this Tribe;

(3) Certificate of title statute of another jurisdiction (Section 24.09.050); or

(4) Consumer protection statute of this Tribe.

(b) In case of conflict between the provisions of this article, other than Section 24.09.050, Section 24.11.040(c) and Section 24.11.050(c), and any statute referred to in Subsection (a) of this section, the provisions of that statute control.
